I was contacted to make a 7ft bot for Pam’s living room. Pam, wanted the bot to be teal, purple, and to be made out of reclaimed parts. After giving Pam a few ideas for bot parts, we agreed on a bot made from an old metal filing box; the body is an old toolbox; the feet are roasting pans; and the arms, legs, and neck are made from black pipe. The hands are a combination of electrical and black pipe conduit and boxes. A few extras were added after painting like the pressure gauge to the chest and speaker covers to the head. All the parts were then painted and given a weathered look. The feet have weight in them to keep the bot, safely upright. Altogether the bot stands around 7ft.
