Laser bots started in 2012. Cameron was the first Laser bots and one of the first bots ever made. Cameron was made from Nancy’s first computer. Laser bots are made from the laser reader of CD and DVD drives. The laser readers are salvaged from old computer towers, radios with CD players, and DVD players.
Avila was the first bot, in 2014, to use a heat sink as a head. Heat sinks can be found inside of computers and other electronics. They help to cool off parts of electronics that get hot, like a computer processors or parts inside of power supply.
