Train bots started in 2017. Spab was the first of the train bots, made from a vintage model train transformer. The first batch of train transformers were found at antique stores, while Nancy traveled for a comic book convention. These transformers were once used as the power controls for a model train set. The transformer would speed up or slow down the train.
Sab was also the first bot, in 2017, to use a VHS as a head. Most of these tapes are found at secondhand stores and garage sales. VHS were a popular way of watching movies in the 80’s and 90’s until they got replaced by DVDs.
